I will be visiting Schimelpfenig Middle School for Day 2 of my visit this year. A different group of students and I will be talking about A Boy His Bibi And A Bari as well as my yet to be published second book, Blight To Bengal.
I have been invited for another author visit - 3rd year in a row, to Schimelpfenig Middle School in Plano, Texas. I will be talking about my first book, A Boy His Bibi And A Bari as well as book number two, Blighty To Bengal. I will also use props to demonstrate articles and items I describe in Book 1.
Schimelpfenig Middle School of Plano ISD invites Shah Alam for the second time. Mrs Anoushe Blatz, ESL Department Head got in touch with Shah this week inviting him back for a full day at the school. Shah will be talking about writing in general and in particular about his first book "A Boy His Bibi and a Bari".
He will also discuss his upcoming book "Blighty to Bengal" about his road trip from London, England to Sylhet in Bangladesh in 2005/06.

Shah spent the day at Schmelpfenig Middle School in Plano, Texas talking about his books A Boy, His Bibi, And A Bari and Blighty to Bengal to an eager group of 8th graders full of questions and great ideas.
Will be speaking to 180 students at Stepney Green Maths, Science and Technology College about A Boy, His Bibi, And A Bari as well as divulging secrets about creative writing.
The book group located at the Idea Store in Whitechapel, London will read my book - A BOY, HIS BIBI AND A BARI - and it will be critically reviewed and discussed at their next meeting on 12th June 2014.
A BOY, HIS BIBI, AND A BARI is now available at Idea Stores in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets at these locations: Whitechapel, Watney Market, and Chrisp Street.

I have been invited to attend the 18th Annual Columbia International Festival from April 12-14 2013. April 12th is schools day at the Columbia International Festival. School children from Columbia will be visiting the country stands to learn more about each country. A BOY, HIS BIBI AND A BARI will be on the stand and hopefully some young minds will be inspired and motivated by my book.
I've been invited to spend a week at Bigland Primary School in Tower Hamlets, London, England.
I have been invited by Islam Channel's prime-time 'Living The Life' lifestyle programme. I will be making an appearance this Wednesday January 30th 2013 between 7pm-8pm GMT for a 5 to 10 minute slot.
